About the Center:
The Child Development
Center at Cuyamaca College serves as a campus-based child development
program providing both learning and/or observation opportunities for
students enrolled in child development courses and childcare services to
students, staff, and
community
families. Providing demonstration classrooms to the college community,
our program offers a model of best practice in early childhood education
while providing students on-floor interactions with young children and
their families.
The Child Development
Center serves children: age 18 months (Toddlers) to five years old
(Preschoolers: before entering kindergarten).
Admission is open to
all families regardless to race, creed, color, or national origin.
Children of students, staff and community may be enrolled in any of the
programs offered which includes 1/2 day, 3/4 day and full day schedules.
the Center also offers a PM enrichment program. Funded students
schedules are based on the parent college enrollment schedule. As a
campus-based child development program, priority for enrollment is
provided to student families.
The Center is open
Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., year round. |
