CIS212: Introduction to Web Development

3 Units (2 lecture hours, 3 lab hours)

Introductory web development course emphasizing production and design using web authoring software. Includes screen design, navigation design, and color design. Students will apply skills and concepts to plan, develop and publish a small web site.

Recommended Preparation: Basic computer skills (ability to use Internet, word process documents, manage electronic files).

It is useful to take GD126A (PhotoShop Digital Imaging) prior to or with CIS 212.
