CS181: Introduction to C++ Programming
4 Units (3 lecture
hours, 3 lab hours)
An introduction to computer programming using C++. Students with no previous programming experience in C++ learn how to plan and create well-structured programs. Students will learn how to write programs using sequence, selection, and repetition structures, as well as how to create and manipulate sequential access files, structs, classes, pointers, and arrays.
Prerequisite: None
Corequisite: None
Recommended Preparation: CS 119, intermediate algebra

To ensure student success, the CIS Department strongly recommends some prior experience with a programming language or program design.
