Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS)

Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) assists students with disabilities by determining and providing appropriate academic accommodations related to their disabilities in order for them to achieve their educational goals.  DSPS provides services to both non-credit and credit students.

Please see the Student Letter for new and continuing students regarding important dates and new information to make it easier for you, the student, to succeed in the Spring 2010 semester, which begins on Monday, January 25, 2010

DSPS Mission 

In accordance with Title 5 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Cuyamaca College Disabled Students Programs & Services (DSPS) seeks to maximize independence and educational opportunities by providing supportive services, eliminating barriers, and promoting access for students with disabilities. These goals are accomplished by offering support to students and faculty in the way of services and equipment which enable students to participate as fully as possible in regular college programs and activities.
