 Invest Learning

Invest Destinations is an evaluation and tutorial program that allows instructors to assess the mathematics, English, and basic knowledge, as well as job-specific skills, of each student. It assigns lessons based on the assessment, re-tests the student’s knowledge at the end of the lessons, and keeps track of each student’s performance.

Some parts of the program use sound to guide the student through the testing process. Other parts are entirely visual and require the student to read what’s on the screen. Input requires the use of the mouse and the keyboard, sometimes almost simultaneously. Using this program could be difficult for students with visual or hearing impairments or for students with a reading disability. Students who have physical impairments that preclude the use of the keyboard or mouse may also have problems.

This program is excellent for students who are academically behind their grade level or who need practice in basic skills before entering college or the employment community at full strength.
