Coyotes sign at 4-year Universities

Ashley Holton, Amber Webb, Kristi French and Nichole Bishop all sign their Letters of Intent.  Ashley Holton, after turning down offers to stay local, decides to move to Texas and be a Wildcat at Division 2 Abilene Christian University.

“We are thrilled Ashley chose to come to ACU.  She is a tremendous competitor who will be a playmaker for us.  Her breakaway speed is impressive and is great in the air.  Ashley has proven over the past two years at Cuyamaca College that she is a force to be dealt with.”

In Coyote Team fashion, Amber Webb, Kristi French and Nichole Bishop turn down individual offers in order to stay together and move to Kansas to be Braves at Ottawa University.

“Amber's versatility, great ball skills and successful conference winning junior college experience will help us immensely next season,” said Shaw. “She had DII offers but saw the potential in our young team and will be a great leader on and off the field for us”

“I am very happy in getting Nichole. She shows a great hunger and desire to be successful,” said Shaw. “With her junior college experience she will push for starting time and give me a great goal keeping dilemma.”

“Frenchy is exactly the type of player I was looking for. She can play center or right back, has speed, strength and great experience,” said Shaw. “She gives us the depth we needed in such a vital area as well as a leader for my talented freshman to learn from.”
