What is an enrollment verification?

Each student who has an academic record on file at Cuyamaca College and who is not in arrears to the college with regard to fees, tuition, loans or other charges may request verification of enrollment.  Such verifications are normally used to verify enrollment for insurance purposes, scholarships, student worker eligibility, employment references, etc.  A verification may also be requested, when necessary, to prove that a student did not attend Cuyamaca College.

Student Full-Time/Part-Time status

For purposes of enrollment verification the following table defines enrollment status at Cuyamaca College:
Status Fall/Spring Summer
Full-Time 12 units or more 6 units or more
Part-Time 6 - 11 units 3 - 5 units

What does it cost?

There is a $3.00 charge per copy to write a letter of verification or to fill out a verification form. 

Payment Options

Your check or money order should be made out to Cuyamaca College. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards may also be used. Include your credit card number, the expiration date, the three digit security code (four digit code if American Express), and the amount to be charged in your request letter.

How do I request an enrollment verification?

All enrollment verifications must be requested in writing. You may fill out an Authorization to Release Information form or fill out a form at the Admissions and Records office. The student MUST sign all requests. DO NOT SEND YOUR REQUEST THROUGH E-MAIL.

How long does it take?

"Regular" verifications of enrollment are processed within 5 business days after the request is received.
