What is an enrollment verification?
Each student who has an academic record on file at Cuyamaca College and who is not in arrears to the college with regard to fees, tuition, loans or other charges may request verification of enrollment.  Such verifications are normally used to verify enrollment for insurance purposes, scholarships, student worker eligibility, employment references, etc.  A verification may also be requested, when necessary, to prove that a student did not attend Cuyamaca College.

Grossmont College enrollment cannot be included on any Cuyamaca College verification.  You must contact Grossmont College to receive a Grossmont College enrollment verification.

What does it cost?
There is a $3.00 charge per copy to write a letter of verification or to fill out a verification form. 

"Rush" verifications are $5.00 each. If requested by mail, rush verifications will be sent out the next business day. You must indicate RUSH in your request letter.

Payment Options
Your check or money order should be made out to Cuyamaca College. MasterCard and Visa credit cards may also be used. Include your credit card number, the expiration date and the amount to be charged in your request letter.

How do I request an enrollment verification?
All enrollment verifications must be requested in writing. You may send us a letter or fill out a request form in the Admissions and Records Office. The student MUST sign all requests. DO NOT SEND YOUR REQUEST THROUGH E-MAIL.

A request letter must contain the following information:

* Verifications of enrollment must be completed in writing.  They cannot be faxed and the student's information will NOT be given by telephone.

How long does it take?
"Regular" verifications of enrollment are processed within 3 to 5 business days after the request is received.

"Rush" verifications will be ready the next business day.
