Classification of Fallacies

Fallacies of Circularity

Fallacies of Circularity are fallacious, not because they necessarily have a false premiss (although they may), but because, if we assume that the conclusion is in doubt and in need of support, we must also admit that the premisses are equally in doubt for the same reason. Thus, the premisses (whether true or false) provide no support for the conclusion.
