The Career and Student Employment Center provides career and employment guidance to Cuyamaca and Grossmont College students and alumni. Community members are welcome to use selected services at
no charge.

JUNE 2014 Career Counseling Drop-Ins

Career Services is offering special hours for recent graduates, new & current students, veterans, & alumni during the month of June. Get help with your career and job search needs. Get a jump start for summer and fall in choosing a career and major. We will be staffed with a Career Counselor and Assistant during this time.

CAREER ADVISING- ASSESSMENT TESTING

Career Planning requires a foundation in understanding your personality type, interests, skills, and work values in order to choose a career major that is best for you. Cuyamaca Career Services administers career assessments for enrolled students and alumni. Ask us about how you can take an on-line assessment in the convenience of your home, or in the Career Service's computer lab. You may go over the results with our qualified counseling staff.

  • Evaluate your Interests, abilities and values
  • Clarify your skill set
  • Match your interests with college majors, occupations and career fields.

Come to the Career Services area and browse the library, research online or watch interactive DVDs.

  • Sample Employment screening tests

Students need to take Career Assessments before meeting with a counselor for their counseling session. Come into the Career Center, pick up your career assessment packet, and set up your appointment. For information, please call 619-660-4436.

CUYAMACA JOBLINK- Job Referrals

  • On campus and off campus jobs are posted on the
    Cuyamaca JobLink website. Cuyamaca, Grossmont College,  enrolled high school students and alumni may use this service.
  • Internship opportunities- Full time, part-time and seasonal.
  • Featured job boards

Free, fast and secure internet access. Post a resume that will be seen by local employers. Employers are screened before they can use the Cuyamaca Job Link.
