 The Flow of Institutional Planning

Institutional planning can truly be a challenge to keep track of for any organization, let alone an educational institution. Once a plan is developed

Recently, a very detailed College Strategic Plan flow chart was developed that depicts the integration of  the various college plans.  The chart outlines the process for accomplishing the planned activities set forth in the college Strategic Plan 2004-2010.  The chart serves as an excellent resource and provides a birds-eye view of how and what is required for Cuyamaca College to move forward.

College Policy & Procedure

   Committee Update

The College Policy & Procedure Committee is a sub-committee of IPC.  Its charge is to make recommendations to the college president on governance issues and college-wide policies and procedures.  Currently, the Policy and Procedure Committee is in the process of  updating the Organizational & Governance Structures document, one section at a time, in preparation for college-wide distribution.   An organizational & structures workshop, presented by President Perri and Academic Senate President, Jan Ford, is scheduled during the Spring 2006 Staff Development week.

Organizational & Governance Structures Document Now Available Online

That’s right, the Organizational and Governance Structures document is now available online.  The document can be accessed by going to the college’s website and typing in this link. cc/pdf/SharedGovDoc_2005-06.pdf

Posting the document to the website completes the Accreditation Self-identified activity: “The Cuyamaca College Organizational and Governance Structures Handbook will be made available to all members of the college community on the college website.”

The document is reviewed annually by the Policy and Procedure Committee and will be re-posted to the college’s website to ensure that the most current version of the document is available.
