I. Create a Syllabus for your Online ClassDefining syllabus broadly, the traditional syllabus should include not only:
Some online instructors separate the elements
of a syllabus and group them into areas called "Course Information" or
"Course Requirements." I have placed mine on the course menu and call
them "Syllabus" and "Course Schedule." For the purpose of the syllabus
assignment we will term all of these elements "syllabus."
Using the Syllabus reference links below and your ideas for student support, create your syllabus for your online course. You may not have the information for many of the elements at this time such as your schedule of topics or assignments, but plan a complete syllabus outline with as much information as possible. Identify a course syllabus to adapt. If you
don't have a course syllabus, you will need to borrow or create one. You can adapt this information by using some ideas from this template for the syllabus for your own online course.
