Worshop Title Dates & Times Description
The Summer Workshop in Telecommunications Technologies
June 14, 15 and 16, 2004; 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. The Summer Workshop in Telecommunications Technologies will be presented by IT² staff and guest university/industry lecturers. This "hands-on" workshop comprise advanced technological topics that are important and relevant in today's world of IT and telecommunications. They include Wireless Networks, Computer and Networking Security, and Copper and Optical Fiber Network Cabling Systems. By attending this unique workshop, you will learn about these technologies not only from an academic perspective, but also from a practical standpoint by actually building and securing wired and wireless networks. An additional workshop goal is to bring together faculty teaching computer, networking, and telecommunications at regional high schools, community colleges, universities, and members of industry for a truly professional experience. Enroll early because space is limited.
