Employment
One source of money for college is employment.   If you are a full time college student, plan to work no more than 20 hours a week so that you will have time to successfully complete your studies.  Remember that for every hour in a college class, you need an average of two hours for studies at home.   Your schedule as a full time student will look like this:

12 hours in class
24 hours for homework
20 hours for work
56 hours total

This is a challenging schedule but it can be done successfully.  If you need to work more than 20 hours a week, take fewer classes.

The first place to go for a part time job while attending college is your college Job Placement Center on campus which specializes in obtaining flexible and convenient jobs for college students.
