1. Apply
for Admission - It's Free!
Before you can register for classes, you must fill
out an application to the college. This can be done
online
and
it is free! Check the
Admissions and Records web pages to find out
additional information about being admitted to Cuyamaca College.
2. Send
Your Transcripts
If you
have previous college credit, or "nontraditional" credit, (i.e.
Advanced Placement, CLEP, or military service), have your
official transcripts or documents sent to:
Admissions and Records
Cuyamaca College
900 Rancho San Diego Parkway
El Cajon, CA 92019-4369
An official
transcript is one that has been sent directly to the office of
Admissions and Records from the issuing institution. Transcripts
submitted previously by applicants who never enrolled are kept on
file for two years. Unofficial transcripts can be used
for advising purposes only.
3. Assessment
& Orientation
After
you have applied for admission, you need to sign up for an
Assessment and Orientation session. The results of your
assessment test will help you in selecting the best English and math
classes to take your first semester and beyond. Additional
information regarding assessment exemptions is available at the
above referenced link.
Orientation provides you with important
information about Cuyamaca College's policies procedures and
academic planning. All students are strongly encouraged to
attend an orientation session. A Cuyamaca College counselor
will conduct the orientation session and will be available to answer
your questions.
