Financial Aid and Academic Planning Course

On-line

 

We are pleased that you are interested in taking the on-line Financial Aid/Academic Planning Course . The successful completion of this course is required for all new Cuyamaca College financial aid applicants. To successfully enroll in and complete the course, follow the steps below. (Print this page and the enrollment instructions below for easy reference.)


  • Enroll in the course. Attached are the enrollment instructions that will guide you through the enrollment process using WebCT.

  • After you have enrolled in the course and you arrive at the Financial Aid/Academic Planning Course homepage; you will see icons for those items bolded below.

  • If you have never taken an on-line course, go through "How to use WebCT".

  • Review the syllabus so you will know what is required to successfully complete the course.

  • Read each course chapter thoroughly and complete the all assignments. Chapter assignments are imbedded in each chapter.

  • Review the Power Point Chapter Reviews prior to taking the chapter quizzes.

  • Take the quizzes and/or assignments after completing each chapter. Don't forget to submit required assignments.

  • View your grades to check your scores for each chapter quiz and to see if you have passed. Complete the course evaluation.

·         When you have completed all the quizzes and submitted all the assignments we will verify whether you have passed the course. There is nothing more that you need to do. We will update your financial aid application information according the course within four working days. You can check the status of your financial aid application on-line to verify when this has occurred.
