PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Associate Degree in Art is designed to provide a fundamental background in the two-dimensional studio arts emphasizing both technique and aesthetic awareness. The student will develop the ability to control line, value, shape, color, perspective and composition in various media.

The major in Art will provide preparation for transfer to a four-year college in fine art or for a vocational area in or related to art. The curriculum consists of courses in both studio techniques and art history.

Opening Reception: Thursday, April 23, 4:30-7pm. Awards Ceremony: 6pm.
