Orientation Information
First time students in the
fitness center must complete the two-hour Orientation
prior to fitness center use.
Returning students do not require an Orientation
Before attending an Orientation, a student must:

Sign-up for an
Orientation through their student Blackboard account.
Student Blackboard accounts will not be available until Friday,
January 25, 2013.

Print out and
complete an
Orientation packet from student Blackboard account and have it completely
filled out prior to arrival (minors need to have parent or guardian sign the
forms). A translated form in Arabic is available as a
reference, but all students MUST
complete and sign the regular Orientation packet.

Visit Health & Wellness Center
(I -134) and get blood pressure and body composition checked and
bring yellow form with you to the Orientation (office will not be
available until January 28, 2013; M-TH 9:30-11:30 am; 3-5 pm).
Student's must bring
the completed yellow Health Center slip to the Fitness Center to complete this course
requirement.

If a student has a pre-existing
health condition (heart surgery, orthopedic injury, uncontrolled
high blood pressure, or any other reason preventing participation in
a rigorous exercise program) they should have the medical consent
form completed, signed, and stamped by a licensed medical doctor
(MD). This form needs to be submitted to complete Orientation. It is
available in the student's Blackboard container in the left margin.

Bring Cuyamaca/Grossmont ID. No
other form of ID will be accepted

Arrive for
Orientation in the Fitness Center (D-203) 10 minutes early
-
No late
arrivals!!! You will need to reschedule if you are late.
