Description:
Spanish 120A is equivalent to the first half of Spanish
120 This course
will allow more time for the student who has not studied
the Spanish language This course will introduce students
to the Spanish language and the cultures of its speakers.
The course will facilitate the practical application of
the language in everyday oral and written communication
at the beginning novice level. Since the focus will be on
basic communication skills, the class will be conducted
in Spanish as much as possible. While becoming familiar
with the Spanish speaking world, students will learn
structures that will enable them to function in Spanish
in everyday contexts.
