The following examples represent areas in which you as a donor can name a facility, scholarship, program or project (To participate click here):

The average per semester cost for books, supplies, fees and transportation for a Cuyamaca College student is $900. You can provide this amount annually to name a scholarship to be rewarded by the college based on its student aid policies. Or, you can endow a named scholarship in perpetuity through a one-time contribution of $15,000.

The College is in the final planning and designing stages for the Student Center which will be the focal point for all student activities. Two-thirds of the funds has been identified, but additional funds are needed to begin construction. If you wish to provide $1,000,000, the naming of the building will be yours to make, with the approval of the District Board of Trustees. In addition, funds estimated to be $250,000 are also needed for the furniture for all public rooms including the cafeteria and outside seating areas. If you donate $1,000, recognition will be provided in the Student Center foyer. If you donate $5000 or more, you will receive special recognition in the foyer.

The College has eleven athletic teams. To provide the needed funds for travel, uniforms, and athlete assistance, team sponsorships with donor recognition are available for $2,500 per team per year. For every $2,500 you become a team sponsor for a year.

The attractive gymnasium on the campus could be transformed into a versatile multi-purpose facility available with purchase of a special cover for the floor. With such, the gym would be available for community groups and college events. In recognition of a $35,000 gift for the special flooring, the College will place a prominent plaque in the gymnasium recognizing your generosity.

At Cuyamaca College, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Track & Field teams continue to gain in conference and state rankings. When these events are held on Cuyamaca's field, no scoreboard is available to report scores to teams and spectators. A gift of $25,000 for a new scoreboard provides you with an excellent memorial or advertising opportunity.

Cement benches and tables with commemorative names permanently stamped are placed throughout the campus for students' use. The College's growth and new buildings create the continuing need for these seating arrangements. Your gift of $1000 will provide a table with benches or your gift of $500 will provide a single bench-either is permanently etched with your name or logo.
