Summer 2008- Bigger and Better!!

 The First Year Success Summer Bridge Program is designed for first time college students. The goals of the program are to give students a jump-start on college by establishing connections within the college community and developing a peer based support network before the fall semester.

All First Year Success Program participants will receive a personal, comprehensive orientation to Cuyamaca College, personal academic advising, a staff or faculty mentor within the college, success workshops, free lunch during the summer bridge program, and participate in fun social activities

Workshop topics include:

•  Creating your own website
•  Introduction to the college experience
•  EOPS orientation
•  Financial Aid
•  Student Services at Cuyamaca College
•  Time Management and Student Skills
•  How to transfer to 4-year universities
•  Career Exploration
•  Balancing school, work, and life
