For faculty instructors only
With the Internet, the whole
process of library research has reached a new level of
complexity. What happens now as your students do their research
from home via the Internet? What happens when the general search
engines like Yahoo cannot reach what some call the "Invisible
Web"? How can you prepare your students for library research,
especially those students who believe the Internet has all the
answers?
One of the ways to help your students is to have me, Jeri Resto,
create a customized Research Guide Website. This website is
customized to your specific research assignment. It would
contain links to print and non-print sources. You may want to view
my list of completed
Research Guides.
You can also earn two hours of
Staff
Development credit.
Describe your
research assignment and attach a Microsoft Word document file.
