The most comprehensive art and architecture encyclopedia
available. Ref N31.D5 1996
- International Dictionary
of Architects and Architecture, a.k.a. Architects
and Architecture. This two volume compilation covers
523 architects in Volume I and 467 buildings in Volume
II. Includes a chronology of works and their locations,
publications by and about architects and works, biographical
sketches. Volume II serves as companion material to
the entries in Volume I. non-Western architecture

- MacMillan Encyclopedia
of Architects, Entries for architects of all periods
including those less well-known but excluding those
born since 1930. Articles vary in scope but all include
a short list of works and a brief bibliography. Ref
