Mexican Revolution Research Project Guidelines

Project Requirements:  Students will research one specific aspect of the Mexican Revolution, the setting of Victor Villasenor’s Rain of Gold.  This project is worth 20% of your course grade. Your presentation must include the following: 

• Revolution Pictures
• Bibliography
• A detailed description of your focus person and his role in the Mexican Revolution (Note: Ms. Carson will assign the focus person to your group.)
• A thorough description of how this revolution impacted the people of Mexico.  How did their quality of life change? Did they become involved with the war?  
• A picture with the reference librarian that helped you with your research
• A one page, typed description of how you contributed to the group research project
• Your project will be based on one of the following individuals:

Porfirio Diaz

Francisco Madero

Pancho Villa

Emiliano Zapata
