RESEARCH ASSIGNMENT

Final Team Reading Research Presentations* will be given at the
   end of the semester (60 pts. based on individual presentation and
   coordination with group info.--Groups of 5-6, each person speaks 2-3 min.
   max.):
      - Research a local or national reading organization.
      - Your presentation must answer the "Five W's": Who are they?
      What do they do? Where do they concentrate most of their
efforts? When was
      the organization established?  Why did people feel the need to
      establish this organization?
      - Prepare handouts and poster boards of your major points and
      supporting details.
      - Tell us what makes this organization successful and any other
      interesting information.
      - Answer questions about the organization from your classmates.
