PURPOSE:  This research guide has been designed to help you complete your research assignment. This research guide has been designed to help you with your research assignment

The Writing Assignment:  Imagine that you’re a writer for the magazine Families in Today’s World  or Parents, and you’ve been assigned the task of writing one of the articles for next month’s publication.  You get to choose your own topic, but it must be related to the themes of the magazine, or themes related to the family and children in the novel, Wuthering Heights (see themes).  You’re required to include at least seven quotes and/or summaries from at least three sources.  In addition, you are required to include a list of your sources on a Works Cited page.

STEP 1: So...what's the difference between KEYWORD v. SUBJECT searching?

Keyword search/Dartboard = finds items that contain your keywords.

Subject search = finds items that are about that topic
