RESEARCH ASSIGNMENT:
Students are
asked to work together in groups of about five to create and
present an hour presentation about a culture or co-culture.
Culture examples would be Japan, Africa, Mexico, or Russia. An
example of a co-culture would be gays and lesbians, the deaf
community, prisoners, or the disabled.
Students may present anything about their chosen culture that relates to
communication, customs, language, gestures, marriage and dating,
education, home life, clothing, and/or religion.
