Preloader Example 1

This first example uses ActionScript 2.0. It is very simple and does not provide any visual feedback while the file is loading. It simply waits until the entire file is loaded into browser memory before moving to the actual content. It uses Scenes.

Preloader Example 2

This second example is also created with ActionScript 2.0 and also uses Scenes. However, it provides two forms of feedback while the file is loading. It loads text into a dynamic text box and updates a simple MovieClip by scaling a rectangle in the x-direction.
