What is the Staff Development Individual Flex Credit?

The official flex activity is called, "Building a Library Research Website".  You will find a online copy posted on the last page of your Staff Development website.

With the Internet, the whole process of library research has reached a new level of complexity.  What happens now as your students do their research from home via the Internet?  What happens when the general search engines like Yahoo cannot reach what some call the "Invisible Web"?  How can you prepare your students for library research, especially those students who believe the Internet has all the answers?

Take this opportunity to earn two hours of flex time.  Jeri will work with you and will build a web-based information competency web-guide.  Your customized website will contain links to print and online resources relevant to your assignment
