Each student will interview a small business owner/manager or professional and type a 2-3 page summary of what you learned. Include the Owners:

NAME, BUSINESS NAME & ADDRESS & PHONE NUMBER, A BRIEF HISTORY, WHY BUSINESS WORKS, NEEDS FOR IMPROVEMENT.

You will decide what other information to ask depending upon your needs. Some typical questions include:

• Why did you start your business?
• The costs of start up.
• The costs of running the business.
• What licensing did you need
• Do you have a business plan and do you follow it.

Students will find one newspaper or magazine article. Pick one dealing with an entrepreneurial topic of your choice. Turn in a copy of the article and type a half-page summary.
