The study of landscape construction methods and materials. Topics include irrigation and drainage plan reading, materials and components, installation and construction. Installation and trouble shooting of control valves and control clocks will also be covered. Instruction includes basic materials and methods for construction of decks, overhead structures, wooden fences and gates. The course will also cover code and design requirements for irrigation, drainage and landscape structures.
