Interests, Activities & Plans

  • I believe that my dedication and accomplishments in ornamental horticulture is evident in my work history and in continuing my education. I am also deeply involved in community events and horticulture organizations as a volunteer. I am planning to continue my volunteer work because I feel that it is imperative to have strong connections in the horticulture industry and be involved in community activities and promote environmental conciseness.
  • I plan to continue my career in horticulture, and to utilize my knowledge of landscape maintenance, irrigation and horticulture practices so that native habitats as well as natural resources are preserved. I believe that with the proper knowledge of water conservation, ecology and fundamental integrated pest management practices, San Diego can continue to have beautiful landscapes while maintaining a balance between aesthetics and natural habitat.
  • I intend to continue my education at Cuyamaca College and obtain an Associate’s Degrees in Arboriculture and Irrigation Technology. Furthermore I intend to transfer to San Diego State University and obtain a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science.
