Greetings GD 126 students!

Welcome to GD 126 online! I would like to welcome you to this class and tell you how excited I am to have you in my class! This is my 4th year teaching Photoshop online and as such I have acheived a great deal of experience as to how to help you be successful with the class.

First, please check your email every Tuesday night at around 6:00p.m. That is when I will tell you where the videos are and what I want you to do. It is also the same time that WebCT will release the assignment for the week. You can download any necessary images from there and get more details on the assignment.

Your assignments will be due on Tuesday night at 11:55 pm every week, but I allow a 1 week grace period after the actual assignment date for those that have trouble getting it in on time. Different people have different skillsets so some assignments may be easier to complete than others. If you have any type of situation that comes up, it is up to you to get in contact with me to let me know if you are going to go beyond the grace period!

Lastly, this is a precursor to the digital photography class therefore I expect all of you to either have a digital camera or have access to one. I expect you to do the assignments that are in the videos. They are to there show you techniques and how do do things in Photoshop though I will almost never ask you to turn them. What I do want is ALL of your turned in assignments to be original pieces photographed and manipulated by you.

This is a fun class and like most classes, you get out of it exactly what you put into it! Give it your best effort and you will be awarded with an A!
