A Heads-Up about
Required Use of Internet and E-Mail.
In order to fulfill the requirements of this course, you will need
to utilize the Internet and e-mail on a regular basis.
It is the responsibility of the
student to ensure that she/he has consistent and reliable access to
an appropriately functioning computer with Internet connection for
completing Internet-based assignments on schedule, as well as for
receiving communications from the instructor. Lab computers,
Internet access, and wifi hotspots, are available on campus at
Cuyamaca College, should you need them during the first two weeks of
class. In Paris, computers with Internet
connection will be available on the premises of the Accord Language
School, and wifi access for laptops will be available in our main
classroom at the Théâtre du Gymnase. Wifi service may also be
provided in some of the student lodgings in Paris, but if it
is not, then Internet access will be readily available in Internet
cafes and other locations throughout Paris. If you possess a
laptop computer with wireless capability, you are encouraged to
bring it with you to Paris (transporting it preferably in your
carry-on baggage).
