This introductory course is intended for
anyone who loves animals and would like to develop hands-on skills with
horses. (not a riding class.) Learn basic horse anatomy, social behaviors,
how to halter, lead groom, and experience a horse. After completion,
students will find many opportunities to continue learning and to become
friends with these amazing and beautiful animals.

American Red Cross, provides individuals with the skills to provide first
aid to an injured animal until it can be taken to a professional
veterinarian. The goal of this course is to protect both pet owners and
their pets from further harm, injury, or suffering during emergencies, by
teaching prompt, effective actions and care that safeguard the life on an
injured pet.

This class is intended for those who want
to set up their first marine aquarium. A valuable experience for teachers
who want an aquarium in their classroom, researchers who need specimens in
their lab, and especially for those who are new to the hobby. An Assistant
Aquarium Curator, and DIY featured instructor will demonstrate step-by-step
methods for successful aquarium keeping. Topics such as filtration, feeding,
disease treatment and animal selection will be discussed. Class emphasis is
on conservation and will promote the purchase of captive-raised specimens.
