Continuing Education Courses

Continuing Education's noncredit and fee-based courses afford students an opportunity to increase their personal and/or professional skills and knowledge in several areas. Noncredit and fee-based classes carry no units of credit and the progress of students is not graded. Classes are held on college campuses and at various locations throughout East County.

Fee-Based Classes:

Continuing Education offers fee-based classes and programs that are self-supporting and are not funded by tax dollars. These classes serve a variety of interests for the San Diego East County community and are fully supported by you.

Non-Credit Classes

Non-Credit courses are available to members of the community free of charge and do not count toward the completion of a certificate or Associate degree. Non-Credit classes are offered in 9 general categories and are all state-approved courses. You can find all of our course offerings in our course catalog.

If you are interested in teaching or proposing a non-credit or fee-based class please contact Victor DeVore at 619-660-4323 or victor.devore@gcccd.edu. Please note that for Non-Credit classes all instructors must meet minimum qualifications. You can download the course proposal (in Acrobat format) form or for further information call 619-670-4323
