American Sign Language Faculty and Teaching Assistant Retreat
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Presenter(s):     A. Therese Botz, Ed.D.

ASL faculty will complete the move into the new labs and discuss the technology training schedule. Demonstrations on new equipment will be given. Final plans for the ASL faculty and student involvement in the Grand Opening will be made. The Staff will be introduced to the new American Sign Language for Infant and Toddler’s curriculum as well as the proposed Deaf Culture courses. Additional issues include the impact of the proposed SDSU Deaf Studies program; building the Fall and Spring schedules; and, high school recruitment using the new technology. The CCASLA calendar will be developed.
