We are one of the departments within the Science and Technology building; building H. Our mission is to support currently enrolled students and staff in the use of computers and software applications.

Our Open Computer Lab is located on the 1st floor. Our Open Computer Lab hours for FALL 2009.

The Open Computer Lab is available to currently enrolled students only. It is now REQUIRED that you register in IS 198 , a no credit, no fee, course in order to use the lab facility. This is required for each semester. You now need to come to the Open Computer Lab to get an add code and  register. It is also necessary to get a NEW Student ID ( has your new Collegue ID # ) so you can log in and out of the system.

When you are registered, a student network account is created for you.

The department consist of one computer lab with the following :

• 100 PC's with Windows XP, Intel Core Duo Processor, and 2 GB of Ram
• 4 MAC's with OS 10, Intel Core Duo Processor, and 2 GB of Ram
• 2 HP Laser Printers ( 15 cents a page, takes $1.00 bills and change, NO $5, $10, or $20 bills )
• 1 Epson Document and Picture Scanner
• ADA handicap station for students with special needs

Classroom related software ( Available Software in Lab ), along with on-site assistance are also available.
