Background

I received my B.A. in Sociology from San Diego State University. My M.A., also from SDSU, was in history with a specialty in California History. I have returned to San Diego State University taking courses in Women's History.

I have worked at other jobs besides teaching, including 2 years in a factory which made (and still makes) sports medicine wraps for humans as well as horses. This work experience was a real education in cultural diversity as well as business.  

Interests, Activities, & Plans

I enjoy spending time with my family and animals. My pets include dogs, cats, water turtles and a 70 pound desert tortoise.
