This course, if you take it seriously, can give you facility in the whole writing process--from prewriting through drafting, revising, and editing. You'll gain both control and confidence. You'll also learn to read more effectively as you learn to understand the decisions writers make and the strategies they employ in approaching their work English 098 is intended for folks who want to bring their writing proficiency to the level necessary for entrance into English 110 at Cuyamaca College. Our course emphasizes paragraph structure and development, and the fundamentals of writing short essays.
