Avain sciences (students are directed to Animal Sciences); Undeclared programs; Applicants to Landscape Architecture and Managerial Economics are approved in a "pre-major" status (not guarantee to the major).

Irvine Fall term only:

UCI does not guarantee the major as part of the TAG. However, it is strongly recommended to complete lower-division major preparation for all impacted majors. See www.Assist.org for details.

Arts and Humanities, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Business Administration, Dance, Developmental and Cell Biology, Genetics, Humanities and Arts, Microbiology and Immunology, Music, Neurobiology, Nursing Science, and Plant Biology are all excluded Irvine majors. 

Complete all major prerequisites for specific major; see www.admissions.uci.edu/resources/transfer_selection.html

Complete at least 30 transferable semester units at CA Community College with at least 3.2 GPA by summer 2011, and for each subsequent term. Students with CCC coursework and non-CCC coursework from within and outside of the U.S. cannot receive a UC Irvine TAG.

Complete at least 30 UC transferable units. 3.0 GPA for all majors in the School of Engineering; 2.9 for all majors in the School of Natural Sciences; 2.8 fro all majors in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Art except Psychology which requires a 3.0. Students who have completed coursework at a postsecondary institution outside the U.S. can receive a UC Merced TAG. Not open to high school students concurrently enrolled in community college. Available for international students.

None. You are admitted to your chosen major for the specified term, provided you complete the TAG requirements.

Strongly recommended to complete lower-division major preparation for all majors; see www.assist.org

No minimum qualifications are required to receive a TAG contract, but students must complete specific requirements by the time of admission. For a list of those requirements, see www.assist.org. Go to "agreements between UCR and a community college" for all major-specific requirements.

2.4 GPA for non-selecting majors; 2.5 for Business Department; 2.7 in all majors in Natural and Agricultural Department; 2.8 in Engineering Department

San Diego
Fall term only:

UCSD TAG applies to general admission, not guaranteed for impacted majors. Impacted majors in the Jacob School of Engineering will be screened for major preparation. Students are highly recommended to complete lower-division major preparation courses. See www.assist.org

There is no guarantee of college choice.

The last available term for admission to UCSD through TAG will be fall 2014. You must submit your application during the     Nov 1-30 filling period to be eligible.

 

 

Must have 3.5 GPA by the end of the fall semester. Complete UC transferable Math and 2 UC transferable English composition courses with "C" or higher by the end of the fall term.

Santa Barbara Fall term only:

TAG is College of Engineering but not guaranteed for the majors in the College of Letters and Science. All majors in the College of Engineering, including Computer Science B.A., and all Economics and Biological Science majors in the College of Letters and Science require major preparation. Strongly recommend to complete lower-division major preparation for all other majors, see www.Assist.org for details.

EXCLUDED MAJORS: Dance (B.A., B.F.A.), Music (B.M.) and Theater (B.F.A.). All majors in the College of Creative Studies

Complete at least 30 transferable semester units at CA Community College with at least 3.2 GPA. Complete UC transferable Math and 2 UC transferable English composition courses with "C" or higher by the end of the fall term. Meet minimum GPA of 3.2 and course prerequisites for specified majors in College of Letters & Science and College of Engineering by the end of the fall  2010 term. Meet 3.2 GPA for the College of Engineering. Chemical Engineering is closed for fall 2010TAG applicants. Arrange to meet with your community college counselor between July and early September prior to submitting your TAG application.

TAG is for majors in the Jack Baskin School of Engineering and all major preparation is required as well. Not for all other majors. Strongly recommend to complete lower-division major preparation for all other majors, see www.Assist.org for details. Admission to campus only. Complete at least 30 transferable semester units with at least a 3.0 GPA. Complete 1st UC-English by Fall and 2nd by Spring; Math by Spring. Students with CCC coursework and non-CCC coursework from within the U.S. can receive a UCSC TAG id they have not completed 20 semester units or more at the 4-year university. Not open to student with CCC coursework and non-CCC coursework from outside of the U.S. Not open to high school students concurrently enrolled in community college. Available for international students.

UCSC Tag will be reviewed by Community College Counselor (CCC) by October 15th.
