Partnerships
The San Diego County Water Authority is our major partner in providing water industry internships. The SDCWA internship program is currently 33 weeks long, and offered once per year. Participants work 20 hours per week minimum at a wage of $10.00 per hour. Applications are accepted and reviewed between February and May. From May to August final applicants are screened. Screening includes background checks and drug testing.

We're also working with Project: WaterWorks, the City of San Diego, Padre Dam and Helix Water District to streamline and communicate additional internship opportunities for students.

For-Credit Work Experience We also offer opportunities for students to participate in our Work Experience program. Working closely with a college supervisor, students may earn one to four units of credit for work experiences arranged with participating agencies.
