MindTap

Required: MindTap for Essentials of Psychology: Concepts and Applications, 5th Edition by Jeffrey S. Nevid, Cengage, 2018. The MindTap app is integrated into Canvas and includes an online e-Text with supplemental materials used in the class. The access code is entered within the Canvas course. You will be allowed two weeks free use of MindTap (including the onlne textbook) after which the code must be purchased. It is inexpensive and is easily purchased directly within Canvas.

Optional: If you feel you would like to also have a printed textbook, you can purchase a text bundle (printed text with Mindtap code) at a special low price from the Cuyamaca College bookstore. You can use the access code in the bundle instead of purchasing it online. The ISBN for this customized text bundle is: 9781337598170. You can have the bundle sent to your home.

* Note: MindTap is customized for this course and must be purchased either within Canvas or with the College Bookstore's text bundle. Both are very reasonably priced. However, if you purchase MindTap within Canvas and then buy a used printed text, be sure to get the correct edition.

See Getting Started for more information on the class. Also see Online Learning to decide whether an online class is the best choice for you.
