Quizzes 1 through 5 are included in your Student Instructional Handbook.  The material to be covered may be found in the section entitled Schedule of Assignments. Each quiz will be worth 50 pts.  I will, however, drop the lowest score of the quizzes and use only the best 4 quizzes to compute your final grade.  This will be in lieu of make-up quizzes.

All Scantrons will be due the day of the scheduled quiz; absolutely no scantrons will be accepted after the due date.

MIDTERM AND FINAL EXAMINATIONS

The student is required to take a midterm and a final examination to complete this course successfully.  The midterm and final examination are administered at Cuyamaca College on the dates indicated in the schedule.  All examinations are closed-book and closed-note.

Midterm Exam - Saturday, July 21, 2001
The midterm exam will consist of 100 questions.  Test items are worth two points each for a total of 200 points.
The exam questions will be similar to the at-home quizzes and study guide questions.   The midterm exam will cover:

- Textbook chapters: Check the "Study Guide"
  under subtitle, "Before Viewing"
- Study Guides: 2-14
- Video Lessons: 2-14

Final Exam - Saturday July 28, 2001
The final examination will consist of 100 questions.  Test items are worth two points each for a total of 200 points.  Items will be similar in form to the quizzes, study questions, and midterm items.  The examination will cover:

- Textbook chapters: Check the "Study Guide"
  under subtitle, "Before Viewing"
- Study Guides: 15-29
- Video Lessons: 15-29

All examination questions will be based on the learning objectives presented in the Telecourse Study Guide, the textbook, video lessons and ancillary material presented by the instructor as detailed in class.
