If you have completed units at another four-year college or
institution, it is important to have these courses evaluated. This
evaluation will then help you determine what additional courses and/or units
you will need to take in order to complete your academic goal.
Evaluation of Credit taken within the United
States
If your previous credit was taken within the United States,
follow these simple steps:
- Meet with a counselor at the
Counseling Office to request course evaluation.
(You must be registered in classes.)
- If you have attended other
colleges, have ALL your official transcripts of prior work, including
A.P. scores, sent to:
Admissions & Records
Cuyamaca College
900 Rancho San Diego Pkwy
El Cajon, CA 92019
(If your school is local, you may hand
carry your transcripts to Admissions and Records. All hand carried
transcripts must be in a sealed envelope and have the official seal of the
school.)
Once all transcripts have been
received, a counselor will review them for course equivalency and then mail
you your preliminary evaluation. You final evaluation will be at the
time of graduation when a course audit will be done to verify that you have
met all degree and graduation requirements.
You may wish to then make an
appointment to see a counselor to discuss your preliminary evaluation and/or
to devise a student education plan.
