EOPS counselors ease the transition into college for new, returning and re-entry students. The over and above support provided improves access to higher education.
EOPS is designed for the recruitment, orientation and retention of California residents who are economically and educationally disadvantaged.
EOPS provides cohort building events, the EOPS student Club, and Work Experience (WEX110) as integral components to the success of EOPS students.
Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education
CARE is designed for single parent students who participate in the EOPS program and receive CalWORKs/TANF assistance.
CARE provides child care grants for study time (as funding permits), success seminars, new and continuing student orientation and an annual CARE Food Pantry and holiday event.
Unlimited Potential!
UP! is designed to assist students who have been in foster care or guardianships. This program is an intensive case management collaboration between EOPS and Financial Aid.
All students applying for the EOPS program MUST attend an EOPS Orientation.
Due to state budget concerns, EOPS offers limited program admission at the start of each semester. Please stop in or call the office to inquire.
