Textbook: PHP for the Web, 4th Edition, by Larry Ullman
CIS 218 will teach you the basics of PHP and dynamic websites that use MySQL databases. We'll start with
PHP language features and end with a small but complete dynamic web app. You will use MySQL to implement
a fairly sophisticated user registration and login scheme for your web app, and you'll be able to easily
adapt the code for your own website projects.
If you want to learn PHP/MySQL, and you've either
you can succeed in this class.

- know HTML and some CSS and have a basic understanding of HTML forms,
