I am a Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt) in
Shotokan Karate. I have been training with the SDSU Shotokan Karate Club since
1992 and have been team-teaching the Beginning class
off and on for nine years. (Each new semester we open a
new beginning class and accept new students. Feel free to come by and check us out)
For seven years, I have been a member of the
I'd
Rather Be Writing Group. We are a collection of writers who meet to
share, critique, and encourage one another's poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction.
We meet at The Living Room on El Cajon Blvd.
I am also a member of the Post-Industrial Gothic Poodle-ist Society, a
playful gathering of readers committed to making time to read good books.
I have three dogs: Gypsy
,
Hookah
,
and Buddha. I also have a cat named Dex.
