Jardin des Plantes   Return to the index page

This garden was created in 1593 and when entering on Valhubert place you find a 500 meter long allee of plane trees which have been pruned using a form of pruning which results in a very structured tree.  The gardens were filled with beds of flowers and flowering shrubs, most well labeled, that make the walk through, even on a cold spring day, a real treat.
