Office of Instructional Operations

The Office of Instructional Operations is responsible for the following:

  • Participate in various Curriculum Committee activities including review of curriculum proposals; tracking alignment and related forms; preparing committee meeting materials; prepare board packet summarizing curriculum actions for the academic year.
  • Prepare, revise and distribute college course outlines in accordance with state regulations.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and participate in the preparation of the college catalog and class schedules.
  • Input information for class schedules including changes from departments/division deans.
  • Maintain and track faculty evaluations; determine faculty to be evaluated in compliance with United Faculty contract guidelines; produce the typed student comments and final summary reports.
  • Produce hire letters for part-time faculty.
  • Process room requests for faculty teaching credit courses in the class schedule.
