Come and watch portions of the movie "The
Best of Youth" with English subtitles. It is an interesting movie on the
last 50 years of Italian history. The discussion that will follow in each of
the two classes will focus on different aspects of Italian lie and culture.
You will also discover everyday expressions often neglected in formal
classroom settings, and discuss the movie together. A knowledge of the
language is not required, but those who speak some Italian will get a change
to practice it. A light snack will be served.
